No? Well never fear, it’s all about to be repeated. Last year was the first Vintage Manchester Awards and, as one of the contributors to the site, I got to go and see the awards in action and meet a lot of the nominees.
Of course this was the perfect excuse for me to source a new outfit, and head to the hairdresser for Frankie to do something fabulous with my hair. So once again this year I’ll be doing the same.
If you’re a vintage lover, you can still nominate your favourite company, person or brand for this year’s awards. Incidentally they’re being held at Manchester 235, in that Vegas-themed glamour pot, the Vega Lounge. And with the new James Martin restaurant opening in place of Linen, it’s going to be a fantastic event.
Nominations end in just a few short weeks, so get going – the voting for winners will follow – but without nominations, your favourites may not make it through to that stage.
And once the nominations are closed and the voting commences you’ll be able to buy tickets to the awards – so plenty of time to get planning that Las Vegas themed vintage outfit…
